{"id":7609,"date":"2024-07-24T08:33:05","date_gmt":"2024-07-24T06:33:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shakti.tattva.se\/?p=7609"},"modified":"2024-07-24T08:33:05","modified_gmt":"2024-07-24T06:33:05","slug":"seva-paripati","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shakti.tattva.se\/index.php\/seva-paripati\/","title":{"rendered":"Seva paripati"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Seva paripati<\/h2>\n<p>Chapters two, three, and four are invaluable for lila smarananandi sadhakas because they discuss:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 How the Vraja associates conduct their seva to please Krishna&#8217;s senses;<br \/>\n\u2022 The times for each seva and who performs it;<br \/>\n\u2022 The types of paraphernalia used in such seva;<br \/>\n\u2022 The types of food and drink Krishna likes and how to prepare such items;<br \/>\n\u2022 How R\u0101dh\u0101 and Krishna are bathed, dressed, decorated, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Bhaktas hankering to serve R\u0101dh\u0101 and Krishna thrive on these details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The art of knowing how, when, and where to serve the Divine Couple is called seva paripati.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Through seva paripati, <strong>intimacy with one&#8217;s worshipable Lord increases<\/strong>. And, as a bhakta pleases Krishna with favorable seva, increased anubhava awakens within his heart.<br \/>\nAnubhava is the subtle realization that enables one to relish transcendental mellows, i.e.,<strong> the sensitivity to understand the Lord&#8217;s loving exchanges.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Without knowing the seva paripati, anubhava never awakens.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Because Govinda-lilamrita introduces the reader to Krishna&#8217;s Vrindavan associates, it is invaluable. And from them, we can learn seva paripati and thus gain anubhava, transcendental perception. Krishna Das Kaviraj is among these intimate Vrajavasis, so the appreciation for his exalted position also leads to advanced realization.<\/p>\n<p>This is why Sri Yadunandan offers millions of obeisances unto his feet. Sri Narottam Das Thakur also recommends:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"wsw-34\">vai\u1e63\u1e47ava cara\u1e47a re\u1e47u bh\u016b\u1e63a\u1e47a koriy\u0101 tanu<br \/>\nj\u0101h\u0101 hoite anubhava hoy<\/span><\/p>\n<p>By decorating one&#8217;s body with the dust of the Vaishnavas&#8217; lotus feet, one gets direct experience of the lila. (Prema-bhakti-candrik\u0101)<\/p>\n<p>Now a question arises: &#8220;How can one receive the kripa and learn seva paripati from the eternal associates of Krishna who are residing in the spiritual realm?&#8221;<br \/>\nThe answer is<strong> through mAnasa-saNga, &#8220;association in the mind.&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Smaran nishtha sadhakas follow the narrations of the Gaudiya acharyas to associate with Vraja&#8217;s intimate associates within the mind-this is manasa sanga.<\/p>\n<p>Sri Narottam Das also says:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"wsw-34\">r\u0101dha k\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a sevon mui j\u012bvane mara\u1e47e<br \/>\nt\u0101ra stana t\u0101ra l\u012bl\u0101 dekho r\u0101tri dine<br \/>\nje stane l\u012bl\u0101 kore jugala ki\u1e63ora<br \/>\nsakh\u012b-sa\u1e45gin\u012b hoiyt\u0101 t\u0101he bhora<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Serve R\u0101dh\u0101 Krishna in this lifetime and in the next by envisioning their pastimes and the places where they unfold. Let us go in our minds to the place where Sri Yugala Kishor reside and serve them in the mood of a sakhi sangini, or female companion of the sakhis. (Pr\u0101rthan\u0101)<\/p>\n<p>In his Prema-bhakti-candrikA, Sri Narottam further more advises:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"wsw-35\">sakh\u012bn\u0101\u1e41 sa\u1e45gin\u012b-r\u016bp\u0101m \u0101tm\u0101na\u1e41 v\u0101san\u0101-may\u012bm<br \/>\n\u0101j\u00f1\u0101-sev\u0101-par\u0101\u1e41 tat-tat-k\u1e5bp\u0101la\u00f1k\u0101ra-bh\u016b\u1e63it\u0101m<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Meditate on yourself as being a sakhi sangini. By carefully following the orders of the sakhis, you will be decorated with the ornaments of their blessings.
