The utility model relates to a universal single-handed keyboard which comprises a letter key zone formed by 26 English letter keys, wherein the letter keys are distributed in at least two rows and four columns. In the transverse view, the N key, the G key, the A key and the I key are positioned in the same row, the G key is positioned between the N key and the A key, and the A key is positioned between the G key and the I key; and the H key is positioned under or below the I key, the horizontal distance beta from the central line of the H key to the central line of the I key is 0-3 of the key width, and the row where the I key is located and the row where the H key are adjacent to each other or spaced with 1-3 rows of letter keys therebetween. The keyboard is operated by only one hand; the distribution of the letter keys is reasonable, so that the work efficiency of the five fingers is very high, the key arrangement is easy to remember, the keyboard has all the input functions of the prior 101\/104 keyboard without needing the specific input method, and the design of slightly-higher space key enables the keyboard to adapt to the single-hand rapid touch-type key input.
