Cinnamon Roll Recipe

 

Making a cinnamon roll by hand seems impossible! Just leave the difficult dough-making to the machine and the rest is easy! Add some of your favourite dried fruits as you roll the pasty for a treat that looks and tastes fantastic.

Ingredients:
CHELSEA BUN:
250g strong white bread flour
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
25g butter
1 egg
1 tbsp skimmed milk powder
1/2 tsp dry yeast
100ml water
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS:
15g butter
100g mixed dried fruits
50g soft brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
ICING:
75g icing sugar
3 tsp milk
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
Steps
  1. Add the ingredients into your Breadmaker in the following order: strong white bread flour, skimmed milk powder, sugar, salt, butter,egg, water and dry yeast.
  2. Select the Basic Bread Dough Programme on your breadmaker and press start.
  3. Remove the dough and shape it into an oblong.
  4. Spread melted butter, cinnamon, soft brown sugar and mixed dried fruits on top.
  5. Roll up from long edge and cut into 8-10 pieces.
  6. Put the pieces on a baking tray and let rise for 30 mins.
  7. Preheat the oven to 220°C and bake for 15mins.
  8. Sprinkle the icing sugar on top.
